Each year, the Avon Lake Athletic Boosters proudly award scholarships to graduating Avon Lake High School seniors who have excelled both on the field and in the classroom. These scholarships recognize student-athletes who demonstrate leadership, commitment, sportsmanship, and academic achievement.
The ALAB Scholarship Program is funded through generous donations, memberships, and the ongoing support of our community. It’s one of the many ways we invest in the future of our student-athletes, honoring their dedication and helping them take the next step in their educational journey.
Eligibility Requirements:
To be eligible for an ALAB scholarship, applicants must:
Be a graduating senior at Avon Lake High School
Have participated in at least one school-sponsored athletic program
Be in good academic standing
Submit a completed application by the deadline
Selection Process:
A scholarship committee reviews all applications and selects recipients based on athletic participation, academic performance, character, and involvement in school or community activities. Finalists may be asked to participate in a brief interview.
How to Apply:
Scholarship applications are made available each spring through the ALHS guidance office and this website. Be sure to follow all instructions and submit materials on time to be considered.
