About Us

The Avon Lake Athletic Boosters (ALAB) is a dedicated group of parents, alumni, and community members committed to supporting and enhancing the athletic experience for students in the Avon Lake City School District. Through volunteerism, fundraising, and community partnerships, ALAB plays a vital role in the continued success and development of our athletic programs from middle school through high school.

Our Mission

ALAB exists to promote school spirit, athletic excellence, and community pride by providing resources that support Avon Lake student-athletes and coaches. We work alongside school administrators and athletic directors to ensure our teams have the tools they need to succeed—on and off the field.

What We Do

We provide financial support for equipment, uniforms, and facility improvements. We award annual scholarships to deserving student-athletes. We coordinate fundraising events and community engagement opportunities. We support coaches and athletic departments with supplemental resources. And we encourage school spirit and community involvement in athletic events.

Why It Matters

Athletic programs help build leadership, discipline, and a sense of teamwork in our students. However, many athletic needs go beyond what school budgets can provide. That’s where ALAB steps in. With the help of our members and sponsors, we bridge the gap—ensuring that every student-athlete in Avon Lake has the opportunity to compete, grow, and represent our community with pride.
